I made it a point this weekend, NOT to take my usual afternoon nap (and boy I love those weekend naps).  The rain and crappy weather really didn’t help any either.. it was a perfect weekend to snuggle up on the couch and stare at the back of my eye lids.  I took the higher road, however, and GSD (Got Shit Done!).  And you know what.. I feel great about it!

It’s amazing how much just doing things that need to get done can relieve you of stress.  Honestly!  Most weekends I would nap.. then wake up, eat dinner and get agitated that the day was almost over and I didn’t accomplish anything.  Not a good feeling at all.

For anyone who’s lazy like me and needs help getting organized so they can GSD, read ‘Getting Things Done” by David Allen.  It sounds like a dry boring book, but even I found it easy to read and insightful.  You won’t be sorry.
